For CommerceBear to connect inventory feeds, publish, optimize, and troubleshoot on your behalf, you'll need to provide us access to your channel accounts.
On Overstock, that involves creating a new User Account for CommerceBear. Please follow the steps below.
✔️Please note: these steps must be completed by an Account Administrator, i.e. the first account created for your organization.
Creating a New User
- Log into Supplier Oasis here.
- In the menu on the left, click on Manager Users > Users.
- Click the New User button in the top right.
- Enter the following information into the form:
- User Name: CommerceBear[YourCompanyName]
- e.g. CommerceBearSampleFurnitureCo
- First Name: CommerceBear
- Last Name: [Your Company Name]
- Email: ops+[YOURCOMPANY]@commercebear.com
- e.g. ops+samplefurnitureco@commercebear.com
- Phone Number: [leave blank]
- Password / Confirm Password: Please create a password and share it with your MSM. We will change this password to something more secure once you have enabled this account.
The other fields in this section can be left blank.
- Make sure the Access Profile field is set to Regular.
- Under the heading Supplier Oasis Page Permissions, CommerceBear requires access to the following:

- File Import/Export
- File Logs
- Holiday Shipping Icon
- Inbound Shipment
- Fulfillment Centers

- Warehouse Settings
- Return Policy

✔️ If you are comfortable enabling all other options, the additional permissions will help us support you with on-channel tasks, growth programs, and more.
- In the bottom right corner, click Create.
You're done!
Please let your MSM know you've completed these steps, provide them with the password you created, and we'll take it from here. (We will change the password to something more secure.)
